Are electronic cigarettes safe?

beat the smoking ban!

The realistic electronic cigarette has a rechargeable battery and real nicotine smoke is produced. Although the electronic cigarette shares many similarities to a real cigarette it is a lot healthier as there are no carcinogens like tar, carbon monoxide and arsenic.

It is important to note that only Gamucci Micro Electronic Cigarettes and Milano Cigarettes have had rigorous testing done on them and can be considered safe. There are now a number of cheap imitations flooding the market which haven't been fully tested.

Have they been properly tested?

Detailed toxological tests were carried out on electronic cigarettes in 2008 and the results showed that they are much less harmful that traditional tobacco products. Further tests have been carried out in 2009 and the results again showed that they are a much healthier option than traditional cigarettes.
